Great News again for Spain as tourist numbers continue to increase. It is reported that in May this year 7,943,825 people visited Spain from abroad, this is a year-on-year rise of 11.7%.
The number of people coming from the UK during May was 14 per cent higher at 2.04 million with visitors from Britain accounting for just over a quarter of all visitors.
This year so far there have been 6.4 million visitors to Spain from the UK, an increase of 10.9 per cent. And our friends from across the pond in Ireland are proving that they are still in love with the Spanish lifestyle with visitor numbers up by 20.1% at 226,000 so far this year.

In the first quarter of this year we have received higher than average number of enquiries from people that have elected for early retirement with a view to coming to live permanently in Spain. The Costa Blanca continues to be one of the most popular areas to live, with a wide choice of properties both new and resale, the area has some of the best beaches and beautiful coastline.
Property prices are comparatively low and very affordable and the cost of living would attract anyone... great restaurants with amazing food costing from only €10 for a 3 course meal ! A pint of beer is only €2.50 in many bars and we have the fantastic Mediterranean weather for most of the year .... what is not to love about visiting or buying your holiday home in the sun ?
